Cane-line

All Cane-line Outdoor products are handwickered with the unique Cane-line fibres made of dyed
hardwearing polyethylene material. The fiber is produced in Europe and has unsurpassed qualities.
The entire Cane-line Outdoor collection is dirt repelling, very strong and outmost environmentfriendly,
as it is toxin-free, biodegradable and recyclable. Cane-line Outdoor stands the seasonal changes unlike traditional cane furniture: pouring rain and beating sun. The collection is UV, colour, water and frost resistant and requires no maintenance. To keep the furniture in good condition, we recommend keeping the furniture indoors during the winter. The furniture can be cleaned with ordinary cleaning materials.

PRODUCT CARE

All products in the collection are woven with the unique Cane-line fibres. These fibres are maintenance-free, we recommend you just clean the products with ordinary household detergents.

GLASS:
Glass table tops - in 8 mm hardened glass - can be used on top of the woven surfaces.
TEAK:
Teak table tops are supplied untreated, and over time will develop a patina. If you wish to treat the teak table tops, we recommend you use teak oil - this will naturally make the wood darker!
EASY:
Easy table tops are made from a fibre-glass and polyester composite. The table top is particularly maintenance-free and requires only ordinary cleaning.
SLATE:
The slate table tops are made from natural slate mosaics, which must be treated with an impregnating agent before use to make it more resistant to dirt, wind and weather. Slate table tops are not frost proof and must therefore be stored indoors during the winter.

GRANITE:
The granite table top is made of natural granite, polished until it is smooth and shiny. Granite is a natural material, so you must expect small depressions in the polished surface and small color variations between table tops. Granite is hard-wearing and requires a minimum of maintenance -clean with ordinary household detergents.
FIBRE CONCRETE:
Fibre concrete is a mixture of cement and quartz sand to which fiberglass has been added. This com¬bination produces a very light, strong tabletop with a contemporary appearance. As the tabletops are cast and finished individually, each one is unique, i.e. there are variations in shading and no two tabletops are exactly the same. The tabletops are impregnated, making them dirt, water and grease repellent. It is advisable to protect the tabletop with a suitable cover or store it in a lean-to during the winter.

FURNITURE COVERS:
These covers are made from a strong, waterproof polyester, which will protect furniture during the winter - though not against frost. Covering furniture for the winter makes spring cleaning easier and prolongs the lifetime of the furniture. It is advisable to check covers after heavy falls of rain/snow and remove any water that has collected so as to ensure that the furniture remains properly covered.

TRAVERTINE:
Travertine is a limestone with small, natural cavities, giving it a rustic look and a lovely, natural variation in colour. No two travertine tiles are ever identical. It is advisable to store travertine indoors during the winter to prevent frost damage. The tiles come impregnated, but it is advisable to immediately wipe up any spills of, for example, red wine.

CERAMIC TILES:
These tiles are made of porcelain, which is an extremely strong material that can be left outdoors all year round. They are made using natural materials, so there may be small variations in colour between tiles.

STAINLESS STEEL:
Stainless steel is extremely weatherproof. However, tarnishing can occur in the form of flash rust. This can be removed using a stainless steel cleaner. The base can be protected against tarnishing by wiping it with acid-free oil at least twice a year.
To preserve your furniture in good condition and allow it maximum useful life, Cane-line recommends you bring the furniture in for the winter.
